November sneak layouts from Sandi ...

Happy Friday, scrappers! Sandi here today on the C'est Magnifique blog today sharing a few sneak peek layouts using the awesome November Kit.  This kit features Maja Designs "Walking in the Forest " collection along with lots of yummy Prima and Petaloo.

For my first example, I've used a photo of my youngest daughter and her husband. I used my favorite distressing technique and used a flame to burn away some of the edges.  I also used a new Prima stencil from my stash and some molding paste.

"Wonderful Bliss"

Close-ups:

To create my layout I've used the Main kit as well as the Flower Add-on and Embellishment Add-on.
From my stash: molding paste, stencil, Martha Stewart punch and file butterflies by Lisa Gregory.

Next I've scrapped a sweet photo of 2 of my younger grandkids at play. Lots of paper tearing and layering made a warm and inviting page.  I loved painting my Blue Fern Pretty Weeds chippys and adding some liquid glass beads.

To create my layout I've used the Main kit as well as the Flower Add-on and Embellishment Add-on.
From my stash: molding paste, stencil, paint and Liquitex Glass beads.

Lastly, I decided to have some fun with my Gelatos and mists and created a swath of color across the page before using a stencil and molding paste for texture.  I love adding the sweet BoBunny banner over a piece of lace.

"Delight"

November layouts by Camilla

I cannot believe it's late October already. The leaves are falling and it's getting really cold here in Sweden. Anyway... Here are two layouts with the upcoming November kit, featuring Maja Design papers.

First, a layout where I have teared the background paper so that another paper is peeking from behind. I have also added some texture by using a mask and some texture paste. The flowers in the kit and the add-on kit are lovely as always.

I have used the main kit, the flower add-ons and the embellishment add-ons for this layout.
From my own stash: alpha dies, mask, texture paste, different dies

On this layout I also teared the papers. The background is made by using mask, texture paste and some blue and terracotte mists. I layered the photo by using different patterned papers, cheese cloth and string. The black swirls and butterfly are stamped onto transparency paper and then added to the page.

Valerie Shares Her Layouts and our Bits & Pieces Winner is Announced

We are looking forward to showing you our November kit tomorrow, but today we have a couple of October Kit items to wrap up.  Here's another look at our October kit and a few layouts that I designed using the kit:

First Competition

For this layout, I chose one of the beautiful papers from the 7 Dots Studio 9th Wave collection.   Using a stencil and the Shimmerz Texturez paste from the kit, I created some dimension on the background, then sprayed it with some mist.  The chipboard pieces are from the Blue Fern Marrakesh Panel that is in the Embellishment Add-on.  They were coated with gesso, sprayed with mist, and then stamped on with the Prima Stamp that is also in the Embellishment Add-on.  Both add-on items are also available for sale individually.

Memories

Once again I began with a background using the 9th Wave paper from 7 Dots Studio and added some texture by misting through the beautiful stencil in the kit.  I used the mist in the Embellishment Add-on, along with some colors that I had in my stash.  You can also see that I used a portion of the Blue Fern Marrakesh Panel which I colored with ink and paint to try to mimic the color of sand.

Simply Lovely

The remainder of the Blue Fern Marrakesh Panel I painted black to use on this layout, since my niece is wearing a black top in the photo.  The Tilda paper was used to accent some of the open spaces in the panel.  The Tilda paper is still available in the Kit and in the paper add-on

Now it's time to announce the winner of our Bits & Pieces Giveaway.  The lucky winner is:

Entry #158 belongs to Laine Kammeraid.  Congratulations Laine!  Please e-mail leslie{at}cestmagnifiquekits{dot}com within 7 days to claim your prize.

A last look at the October Kit with Sandi Clarkson

Hello, scrappers! Sandi Clarkson here with you today to share a last look at my projects created from the October Kit "Summer's Last Dance."

First up I've used some of the heavenly 7 Dots Studios 9th Wave papers and paired them with flowers and embellishments from the kit and add-ons. I loved using the She Art stencil from the kit along with the Shimmerz Texturez paste .. and just had to use the Christy Tomlinson She Art packaging as well. Loved that pop of red. The photo is of my youngest dd and her hubby.

I've used the Main Kit, the Flower Add-on and the Embellishment Add-on.
From my stash I've used some twine, a Cheery Lynn butterfly die, a MS punch and a few miscellaneous pearls.

I decided it was time for a boy page and these 9th Wave papers and Blue Fern Marrakesh chipboard (which I left naked) were so perfect for doing one! My page is based on a sketch by Lydell Quinn.

I've used the Main Kit, the Flower Add-on and the Embellishment Add-on.
From my stash I've used a stencil and some Dylusions mist, cheesecloth and a MS butterfly punch.

Next I decided to do a mixed media canvas. This one is 11x14. I had such fun creating my background with my Damask stencil and lots of Lindy's Stamp Gang mists! I loved altering the kit and add-on contents to suit my needs. Don't you love that photo of dgd Marianne working on a crafty project with her 3 headbands and a scarf?

I've used the Main Kit, the Flower Add-on and the Embellishment Add-on.
From my stash I've used a brooch from my jewelry box, mists,  stencil, molding paste, cheesecloth, pearls and some drywall mesh.

Here is my take on the October sketch by Michele Singh.  Loved working with these Tilda papers!

I've used the Main Kit, the Flower Add-on and the Embellishment Add-on.
From my stash I've used pearls, paper doilies, chalk Fink, Gelatos and my Martha Stewart Wild Flowers and Floral Vine punches.

Lastly, I decided to combine the 7 Dots with the Tilda papers to highlight a lovely bridal photo of my dgd and her husband. It's hard to see (because I covered much of it) but I did get a little messy with the Shimmerz Vibe and cute little Prima stamp. The flowers in October's kit were so lovely and clustered so well regardless of the color combination you wanted to mix.

I've used the Main Kit, the Flower Add-on and the Embellishment Add-on.
From my stash I've used another Cheery Lynn butterfly die, a MS punch, My Cricut Expression, black card stock and a few miscellaneous pearls.

Thanks for coming by today! It is nearing mid-month and we will soon be sharing some sneaks of the gorgeous November kit!  Until then ... happy scrapping!
