Hello all my crafty friends,
Here is a project I made with the chipboard pieces “cute & family” from Southern Ridge Trading Company.  You can get more information at #southernridgetradingcompany or https://cestmagnifiquekits.blogspot.com
I took these pictures at my son’s wedding to his beautiful bride.  What a fun and wonderful day!
I first painted all the Chipboard pieces and then used a glittery top coat.
I cut my photo and to fit in a visual line across the 2-page layout.  I cut all the small embellishments to make a frame around the circle picture.
I hope you enjoy!

Tribal Canvas

Hello my Scrappy friends,
This is a special project because it is a mixed Media style!  In my normal crafting I usually scrapbook along with many other things but mixed media is usually reserved for my canvas paintings.
I used the chipboard pieces “Dream Catcher corner & Tribal Feather skinny strand” from the large variety at Southern Ridge trading company!
I collected many off the wall items like buttons, small bows, crocheted doilies and assorted torn papers pieces.  I added all these in a style that flowed well with a heavy adhesive.  I then covered the entire canvas with white Gesso and let it dry.  I took the chipboard pieces and covered them in white paint and let them dry.  Keep in mind this was not a quick project with all the drying time.
After everything was dried, I inked and swiped with several different supplies.  The chipboard pieces had several colors of distress inks to blend into the finished project.
I added beading and feathers to incorporate the chipboard pieces to pull it all together.
The end result is a multi mixed media piece with a tribal feel!  To see more information, see Southern Ridge Trading Company at #southernridgetradingcompany and https://cestmagnifiquekits.blogspot.com

Hello all my crafty friends,
Here is a project I made with the chipboard pieces “starfish, coral and the frame from the butterflies” from Southern Ridge Trading Company.  You can get more information at #southernridgetradingcompany
I took this picture of some sponges while at a boardwalk store on the beach.  Something about this photo just got to me.  I thought these chipboard pieces went well with the picture.

I first painted all the Chipboard pieces and then used several different colors of embossing powders to give them a natural look.

I cut my photo and matted it with like papers.  I used a beach scene main paper to pull it all together,

I had this quote that just worked so well with all the elements of the page so I printed it on cream card stock and used the embossed “frame from the butterfly chipboard”.  I think it all came together well and might just put it in a shadow box frame!

I hope you enjoy!
