Evelyn's October Kit Projects

Hi lovely peeps, Evelyn here today. I want to share with you my projects for October. This time I only used the Main Kit - Among the Birds, which includes absolutely adorable papers and embellishments, and the gorgeous Flower Add-On, again with most adorable flowers. It was so great to work with the kits again!

Here is my first layout, I made after the October Sketch Challenge (I mirrored the sketch). For this layout I made a process video, I hope you enjoy watching!

from my stash: Matte Medium, black and white Gesso, black tea, metallic rub on, stencil and modelling paste, Chipboard, Thread, mists, inks, stamps, dies, leaves, old lace, old book page
 Here some close ups:

And here is the process video:

My next layout is made with an old photo I found at a flea market. Well, I don't know who the pretty lady is, but I like her picture.

from my stash: Gesso, embossing powders, mists, drawing ink, modelling paste and stencils, cutting dies
 Here are some close ups:

Look at these pretty flowers! Aren't they adorable?!

I embossed the chipboard with black embossing powder, but it didn't cover everything, it cracked, and I love how it turned out!

Here you can see the right edge, again one of the tiny flowers and one die-cut rose, on top some Gesso and sprinkled with some pink and silver glitter.

The chandelier I embossed with black embossing powder and sprinkled some gold glitter embossing powder on top, when it was still hot. The chipboard frame I heat embossed pink and black.

My third layout I made, fitting to the season, autumnal. Here I have omitted almost all embellishments.

from my stash: cardstock, modelling paste, stencil, acrylic paints from former C´est Magnifique kits, Mica flakes, sand paste, mists and threads
 Some close ups:

My last project is an altered empty chocolates box. I gave it a coat with one of the papers from the Main Kit, distressed the edges with Distress Ink in Walnut Stain and embellished the cover with two tags and twine. The large roses and the pearl swirl sticker are from the Main Kit.

I enjoyed working with this kit very much! Thank you for dropping by here today! If you like, you can get the kits in the C'est Magnifique Store.

Have a nice day!

Second Chance Saturday with Deonna - Patriotic Star-Shaped Box

Hi! Deonna here today sharing a patriotic paper mache box that I created with the fantastic July Kits

Personal Supplies: Star-Shaped Box, Star-Shaped Drawer Pull, White Ink

I tore pieces of the Tim Holtz Correspondence paper into small pieces and sealed them to the outside of the box in a random fashion. I brushed the die-cuts and edges of the box with white ink.

The Dark Green Wood Shavings from the Mixed Media Kit were a great filler for the inside of the box.

I had a lot of fun embellishing the box kit with flowers and ribbon from the kit. I used the red ribbon and denim strips from the kits to create my own rolled fabric roses.

I hope you have enjoyed my project! The July Kits are available for purchase in the C'est Magnifique Store while supplies last.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Stina´s July kit projects

Hi!
Good to see you all again! Today it´s me, Stina, who wants to show you my projects made with the wonderful July kit!

Personal Supplies: white acrylic, metal decorations, heart

My first project is a wedding gift. I love these configuration books. You can make so much with them. I made the big flower on the front from the coffee filter in the Main kit. For this project I used products from the Main Kit, the Embellishment Add-on, the Mixed Media Kit and the Flower Add-on.

Inside the book I put some nice decorations and a poem. The pocket in the right corner can be opened and a gift like money or gift card can be placed there.

Personal Supplies: green acrylic an mist, black acrylic

Here´s my first layout with the kit. I made the background with stamp, acrylics and the mask in the mixed media kit. I also took black acrylic and the texture tools and played with them. For this project I used products from the Main Kit, the Embellishment Add-on and the Mixed Media Kit.

  Personal Supplies: blue mist

Here´s my second layout, a layout of my son and his grandfather. For this project I used products from the Main Kit, the Mixed Media Kit and the Flower Add-on.

My third layout went in the red tones, a color I usually don´t scrap in. But I really liked it. For this project I used products from the Main Kit, the Embellishment Add-on, the Mixed Media Kit and the Flower Add-on.

Personal Supplies: background stamps, mask, black mist

The last layout is a little bit more grungy with just a few decorations. For this project I used products from the Main Kit, the Embellishment Add-on and the Mixed Media Kit.
