I Forgot to Mention.......

In addition to the embellishment and flower add-ons, this month we also have a 7 Dots embellishment add-on.  You will receive 5 sheets of stickers and cards that are perfect for using when you need a little something to fill in a space on your layout.  There are also small alphabets (perfect for subtitles), banners, and sayings that can be used for titles.  Be sure to pick up one of these add-ons in our store HERE.  These items are also available individually.  Here's a look at the items in the add-on. 

May Kit Paper and Add-ons

Do you want to see what we have planned for May? Do you receive our newsletter?  Our newsletter readers get an advance peek at our upcoming kit paper and add-ons.  If you don't receive our newsletter, you can sign up by entering your e-mail address in the sidebar.  We promise that we won't flood your in-box.  We only send a couple of e-mail messages each month.

Our May kit will contain paper from a Polish company, 7 Dots!  We have used their paper before, and it is beautiful!  The design team has loved working with this kit.  Here's a look at the "Wonderland" collection from 7 Dots:

You asked for it and we listened.  We have increased the number of flower add-ons this month and as of now, we still have some available in our STORE.  The flower add-on features flowers from Manorhouse, Prima, and Canvas Corp.  Some of the flowers are also available individually.

I love it when I get a new batch of photos. When I started working with this kit I was immediately drawn to this one of my sweet nephew. I had so much fun photographing him.  My niece and I found some really cute crocheted hats on Etsy.  I know, the background of this paper from 7 Dots is already heavily distressed, but I couldn't help pulling out my chicken wire stamp and adding a little more. I also splattered some gesso and blueberry cobbler Shimmerz (love that name!) on the background.

Layouts by Leslie and Erin

Today, we thought we would show you some layouts using items from our store.  

Leslie used the Bo Bunny Country Garden line for this layout titled "Happy Days".  

This beautiful paper collection, rub-ons, and chipboard elements can be found in 

the BoBunny section.  These colors would be perfect for a spring layout!

Next we'll take a look at some layouts by design team member Erin Blegen.  

This little 'fish face' is her son and Erin used the Spring Jubilee line from Pink Paislee.

In this layout, Erin shows us how she has used "The Bright Side of Life" line 

from The Scrap Cake.  This paper has been SO popular.

Lastly, we share a layout that Erin created using one of the beautiful

April is a great month for us - we have both the C'est Magnifique design team AND some of the fantastic designers from The Scrap Cake using our kit.  Today we feature the last of the layouts from the gals at The Scrap Cake, using the "My Private Happiness" line created by KarolaWitczak

Challenge Update x 2

We had SO much going on last week that we weren't able to fit in our challenge update.  We hope you liked seeing all the inspiration from both our design team, and the design team from The Scrap Cake.  Tomorrow we will be showing you even more layouts using our April kit.

But today is a double challenge update.   Last week we announced the winner of our "Packaging Challenge".   Congratulations to Connie, also known as Cherished on our message boards!  Connie has won an RAK from C'est Magnifique.  Here is Connie's layout titled "Picture Perfect".

Scrap About a Place Challenge due April 15th

For this challenge we would like for you to create a layout about a place. It's fine if there are people in the photo, but the theme of the layout must be the 'place'. So let us see a title and journaling that let us know a little about the 'place'. The 'place' you choose is totally up to you. It could be a vacation photo or something totally different.... such as the grocery store. Just make the 'place' in your photo the star of the layout. Everything else is up to you!

Prima Collections and La Blanche Stamps

We have some beautiful lines of Prima paper in the C'est Magnifique store, and today we thought we'd feature some layouts from design team member, Camilla Ekman. 

In this beautiful layout, Camilla used the Sun Kiss collection 

with a combination of blues and sunny yellows.

Camilla has also created both a card and a small bag using the Meadow Lark collection
