May Kit Layouts by Bonnie

Hi! Bonnie blogging today, and I will be showing you 2 layouts that I have made with the gorgeous May kit! These 2 layouts feature 2 darling sisters, and are very special girls, especially to their Mother, who is my cousin! Thanks Karen for sharing your photos with me! The papers in this kit are so soft and delicate and suited my subjects perfectly. In my first layout, I tried to recreate the background in which the photo could of been taken. I really loved the netting surrounding Madelyn and her bear friend and I mimicked that using cheese cloth. I used the blue and yellow sprays from the MMM kit to represent the sun and the sky. They also went perfectly with Madelyn's dress!
To create this layout I used the Main kit, the Embellishment add on, the Flower add on and the MMM kit. From my own stash I used, molding paste, gesso, cheese cloth, stamps, archival ink, chalk ink, dies, leaves, butterfly punch.

Here we have Danika, a living doll! I did lots of layering with the papers and tags and such that came in the kit and add ons. I really loved the Blue Fern Chipboard frame, and I painted it white, and then I stamped on it with a musical stamp, and then used the embossing enamel and yellow paint along the edges. So much fun to alter!  I did some random stamping and a little bit of mixed media work.
To create this layout I used the Main Kit, the Embellishment add on, the Flower add on, and the MMM Kit. From my stash I used: stencil, molding paste, mists, stamps, archival ink, die, leaves, lace.

Ulrika May Kit Layouts!

Today it´s my turn to show you what I created with the amazing May kit. I totally loved working with this kit and I made five very different pages and I will show you four of them today.

On this page I let the large frame set my design. I wanted the monkey to hang from one of the corners. I also chosed my theme from the hanging monkey. I love playing with titles. I painted my frame with Gesso and green Acrylic paint. Last I dabbed the brown stamp pad on the frame.

For this layout I used papers, stickers, stamp pad, Hydrangeas and yellow Roses from the Main Kit. From the Embellishment Kit I used pearls, frame, tags, stickers and doilies. The green Botanica flowers and both Ballroom and Castle flowers are from the Flower Add-on.

From my own stash I used green Cradtsock, Gesso and Acrylic Paint.

My next layout have a totally different color scheme. I started by spraying the pretty ribbon with a purple mist and cut off the rhinestone string. I fussy cutted a frame and cut out some banners.

For this page I used papers, ribbon, stamp pad, Garden Gate Chipboards and flowers from the Main kit. From the Flower Add-on kit I used Ballroom, Castle and Andorra flower. The clocks come from the Embellie Add-on kit and the small purple flowers are from the MM kit.

From my own stash I used a large doilie.

This page is for sure very ironic. But at my age I can joke a bit about myself. Here I worked with many layers and both dies and punches. I also sprinkled my page with the lovely chunky embossing powder. This gives almost a fairy effect on my layout. Very cool!

For this layout I used papers, Garden Gate Chipboards, stickers and pink Hydrangeas from the Main Kit. The beige flowers are from the Flower Add-on. The purple flowers and the Embossing Enamel from the MM Kit.

From my own stash I used dies, punches and doilies.

We have arrived at my last layout! For today because I also have one for the May Sketch!
Here I went for much more Mixed-media style. I started with my background. On the background I used a Stencil and a stamp. I also used sprays and paint. To get cool contrasts I used black on the stamp and I also used a black pen around the edges.

For this layout I used papers, stamp and a Rose from the Main Kit. The blue stickers are from the Embellie Kit. From the Flower Add-on I used the Ballroom and the Penny Lane Roses. I also used both sprays, the Ayeeda paint, Stencil, Wood Charms and Botanica Minis from The Mixed-media kit.

From my own stash I used Gesso and a black pencil.

Thanks for watching and I hope you also will love this kit as much as I did!

Hugs from Ulrika!

My First Two Projects Using The May Kit by Kim Price

Supplies used: C'est Magnifique Main Kit, Flower Add-on, Embellishment Add-on and MMM Kit.
12x12 plain chipboard, texture paste, gesso from my stash.

Today I want to share a couple of layouts I have created using the new May kits from C'est Magnifique. These projects have turned out so different to one another - which is what I really love about the CM kits.

For my first layout I've really chosen to use the blue shades from the kit - mixing and matching the gorgeous Pion Designs patterned papers from the Main kit with flowers and embellishments along with some mixed media goodies.

I've created a custom background using texture paste and gesso on a 12x12 chipboard base along with mist and a stencil from the MMM kit. I'm really loving the result.

I've added lots of layers of patterned papers, torn labels from my kit packaging as well as embellishments included in the add-ons - all in shades of blues and creams.

I've also used a piece of the stunning Blue Fern Studios "Rose Frame" chipboard included in the embellishment add-on, which I have simply painted white with gesso and placed on my layout.

Supplies used:  C'est Magnifique Main Kit, Embellishment Add-on and MMM Kit.
gesso from my own stash.

On my second project I've really run with the yellow theme, and added a touch of green to break up the monochromatic look. I've kept this page a lot simpler - choosing to let the patterned papers really shine.

I've added the crocheted doily element from the embellishment add-on and created a matching title using the alpha stickers that come with the main kit.

Again I've used a piece from the Blue Fern Studios chipboard "Rose Frame" painted with gesso and some matching flowers from this month's MMM kit.

Thanks for calling in, hope you like my projects today!

The May kit with Camilla

Hi everyone! I have some layouts to share - some sneaks of the upcoming May kit. I am sure you are going to looooove the kit. I did.

First a baby layout. As you can see I have gathered some of the flowers in the main kit and the add-on. The title is one of the chipboards in the embellie add-on. So simple, yet so beautiful.

For my layout I have used the main kit, the flower add-on and the embellie add-on.
From my stash: doily, dies

Here I have used some misting, masking and stamping on the background paper. The papers are layered to create motion from top to bottom and from left to right.

For my layout I have used the main kit, the flower add-on, the MMM kit and the embellie add-on.
From my stash: texture paste, dies, stamp, mask, border punch, old book pages

This is a layout with my flower girl. She is surrounded by beautiful blooms and the gorgeous frame from Blue Fern Studios. The oval frame is a cut-out from one of the Pion papers.

From my stash: stamps, masks, Inka Gold

And finally an old picture of my boy. The blue and green flowers match the background created with the blue mist from the MMM kit.

Magnifique Mixed Media Kit with Erin!

It's my turn today to share with you my first project using the {SOLD OUT} May Magnifique Mixed Media (say that 3 times fast!) Kit!

The gorgeous pastels and fresh spring colors arrive just in time!

"Remember This Moment" Card
Could pink and yellow together be any more pretty??

The die cuts and wood embellishments in this kit offers endless layering possibilities.

For the base of this card, I used a palette knife and scraped on some of the 13 Arts "Matte Lemon" acrylic paint randomly over the background.

Then I unscrewed the sprayer from the bottle of the 13 Arts "Pastel Yellow" mist and flicked mist splats using the straw of the sprayer.

For the textured detail here, I used the Tim Holtz mask with some modeling paste, covered with the Stampendous Shabby Pink Embossing Enamel, and set with a heat tool.

Our May MMM Kit {Sold Out}

Stay tuned- we have LOTS more to show you this month!
