TAMMY'S DAY TO SHARE THE OCTOBER KIT

Hi! It is my turn to share the Beautiful October kit! The papers look soft and homespun!
 This first layout is my youngest daughter. I love the pink and green combo.

I used items from the Main Kit, Flower Add On, Embellishment Add On, and Mixed Media Add On Kits, I also used punches from my stash and water distressed the edges of the paper.

This next layout is one of my grandsons when he was younger.

This was a fun layout, I used items from the Main  Kit, Flower Add On, Embellishment Add On, and Mixed Media Add On Kits. I fussy cut all the butterflies from a sheet of the paper. I used embossing powder from the mixed media kit on the mushroom. I used molding paste and distress ink from my stash. I sewed around the edge with my sewing machine.

This layout is another one of my youngest daughter. Three of her Senior pictures.

Again I used items from the Main Kit, Flower Add On, Embellishment Add On, and Mixed Media Add On Kits. I did quite a bit of sewing on this one. 

This page is a family photo that needs updated. I have a daughter in law, son in law, and grandson that needs added.

I used items from the Main Kit, Flower Add On, Embellishment Add On, and Mixed Media Add On Kits, I used the water distressing technique on the paper. I used distress ink and a punch from my stash.

This is my last layout using the October Kit.

This one is all items from the Paper Add On, Embellishment Add On, and Mixed Media Add On Kits! I even used a piece of one of the papers as my focal point instead of a picture. I used some molding paste and distress ink from my stash.

Debbie's Projects Featuring C'est Magnifique's October Kits

Hi everyone! Debbie here today to share a few layouts I created using 

C'est Magnifique's October kit and add ons.  
I love working with the beautiful Maja Designs Coffee In The Arbour papers featured this month.

For my first layout I chose a photo of some old books.  I love to read and must admit that I prefer an actual book that you can turn the pages.  I do have a Nook, but favor a book any day. The layout features papers from Maja Designs and elements from the main kit.  I also used flowers from the flower add on, a key hole and die cuts from the embellishment add on and the stencil, resin butterflies, flowers and mica from mixed media add on kit.
From my stash:  Mist, paint, stamp and ink

For my second layout I used elements from the October Monthly kit along with some beautiful Maja Design papers.  I added flowers from the flower add on, and used some die cuts, alphas and blue mist from the embellishment add on.  The beautiful chipboard is from the mixed media kit, some of which I embossed using the embossing powder also from the mixed media kit.  I tore off the flaps of a shipping box, painted them white and misted them with the blue mist from the embellishment add on.
From my stash:  gesso, paint, ink, stamp and stencil.

My final layout features papers from Maja Designs Coffee In The Arbour along with a resin mushroom, wooden bow, mini alphabet and a butterfly from the October Monthly Kit.  I also added flowers from the flower add on, chipboard, dies cuts and a pearl flourish from the embellishment add on and used the stencil, flowers and embossing powder from the Mixed Media Kit.
From my stash:  paint, stamp, ink and modeling paste.

I truly loved working with the beautiful Maja Design Coffee In The Arbour papers along with the add on kits which are available to purchase in the store.  The October Monthly kit will debut at the end of the month.

Deonna has had fun this month playing with the October kit!!

She has used the Main Kit, the Embellishment Add On, the  Flower Add On and the Magnifique Mixed Media to create her beautiful layouts!!

Cathi's Projects with the October Kit

Hi! Cathi here to share a few of my October layouts using the gorgeous Maja Designs Coffee In the Arbour papers featured this month. The kit is just gorgeous and I have had a great time working with it!

My first layout features a photo my daughter took of herself...She is growing up so fast, she looks so much older than her 11 years (nearly 12 she would say!) I had fun adding a film strip affect to the images. The layout features the main kit papers and gorgeous chippies, the key hole and alphas from the Embellishment Add On, flowers from Flower Add On and Magnifique Mixed Media kits and the stamp, stencil and butterflies as well that feature in the Magnifique Mixed Media kit.

My second layout has a completely different look to it, I love how versatile this kit is!! This is another photo of my oldest Aine (the one that doesn't run from the camera!!) Her ballet teacher had photos done of the children on their last day of classes before summer and I might have bought a few!! This one features her leaping in the air with the beautiful backdrop of our Irish village. I have featured a lot of the Main Kit in this layout: the pink ink coloring the chipboard, the pearls, the butterfly, lace, wooden dream and clock pieces and the mushroom resins. The flowers are from the Flower Add On, The blue mist, alphas, chipboard and die cuts from the Embellishment Add On.

October kit with Ulrika!

 It´s time to do my reveal for the October kit! As so often my projects came out totally different from each other.

      

 On my first layout I used a light background. I used the Stencil, keys and stamp from the Mixed-media kit. The flowers I used are from the Flower add-on kit and you find the brown letters in the Embellie kit. Papers and stickers are from the Main kit.

From own stash: Gesso, ribbon, black stamp pad.

I totally fell in love with the fun and very pretty flakes. As you see I used it a lot! I used the Emboss-it Dabber on my chipboard and then I used the Orbit Olive Gold Embossing powder. I added the Embossing powder on almost all paper edges also. My flowers are from the Mixed-media kit and Embellie kit. The large Butterfly from the Main kt got company by some cute birds from the Embellie kit.

I was very inspired by all cute images in this kit! I made three large tags. I like the shape of a tag and if you make them large they can pass for a card. On the blue one I used a image from the Maja Design papers. I used one Butterfly as embellishment. The tag in the middle has a image from the die-cut package. I also used two flowers from the Flower add-on kit. The one on the right got two different die-cuts and I used 3d pads. The lace from the Main kit gives it a vintage look.

This is my last project for this post. You will also see my take on the sketch at the first of October.
Here I went for a green and yellow combination. I also added a tiny bit of blue but the flowers work well because they have yellow prints on them.
I used the stencil and Butterflies from the MM kit and flowers from the Flower add-on kit. The frame and the pearl swirl are from the Embellie kit. Paper, letters and chipboards from the Main kit.
