Second Chance Saturday with Tatiana

Hi! Tatiana here today and I'd like to share more projects from our last kit. I used the February Bird Song Kit. For my first layout I chose a 2 year old Easter photo of my husband and me. The flowers are cut and handmade with the patterned paper from the kit.

I customize the kit embellishments to fit my background. I used alcohol ink for painting the brads and mists for painting the ribbon and flowers.

The chipboard is covered with Prima ink and I highlighted it with black pen.

For the first layout I used from the Main Kit:

Blue Fern Studios: Sanctuary: Botanical Garden
Blue Fern Studios: Sanctuary: Correspondence
1 Medium Turquoise Rose
Kaisercraft Soft Blue Pearl Brads
Prima Turquoise Stone Chalk Edger
Maya Road Antique Mocha Scallop Trim
Fabscraps Forever Chipboard Word

From my stash I used:

Prima stamps, stencil, Decor Factory mists, 13 Arts paint, seashells, Silks paints, gesso, thread,  stamens, Faber-Castell black pen

For the second layout I used a photo from my pregnancy photo shoot. I made the background using paints, white pen and mist.

For the second layout I used from the Main Kit:

Blue Fern Studios: Sanctuary: Bountiful
Maya Road Antique Mocha Scallop Trim
Melissa Frances Blossom Resin Embellishments
Prima Pulse Chipboard Alphabet

From my stash I used:

Stamps, sequins, Wow and Lindy's Stamp Gang embossing powders, vellum, Tsukineko Irresistible mist, 13 Arts gold glitter paint, thread, white gel pen

If you're interested in purchasing the February Bird Song Kit you can pick one up from the C'est Magnifique Store while supplies last.

Happy scrapping!

Tammy's March Kit Projects

Hey! Tammy here today to share what I've done with the March Kit, "Haute Couture." This kit is very vintage but has a little pop of today in it too. I really enjoyed playing with it.

This first layout is a self project.

I used items from the Main Kit, Flower Add-On, Embellishment Add-On, and Mixed Media Kit. I used a stencil, gesso and distress ink from my stash. I used my sewing machine to stitch around the background.

This layout is my husband's Grandmother.

I used items from the Main Kit, Flower Add-On, and Mixed Media Kit. I did some fussy cutting and rolling paper.

This is a layout of my Daughter and new Grandson. "A Gift from Heaven"

I used items from the Main Kit, Flower Add-On, and Embellishment Add-On.  I used some dies from my stash to make flowers with paper from the kit.

This next layout is my Great Grandfather.

I used items from the Main Kit, Embellishment Add-On and Mixed Media Kit. I used Distress Ink from my stash. I used pop dots with each layer. Every other letter of REMEMBER is pop doted.

This last layout is my Father-in-law as a baby.

I used items from the Main Kit, Flower Add-On, Embellishment Add-On, and Mixed Media Kit. I also used some Prima brown wire thread from an earlier kit. I used gesso(from my stash) on the background and on the flowers, then added a little on the picture. then sprayed the background with the Lindy's Stamp Gang Spray from the Mixed Media Kit. Very grungy old vintage look! He was born in 1913!

Maria's March Kit Projects

Hi! Maria here today. I hope you're all doing well. Finally March - I´ve been waiting for the spring to arrive, hopefully it will be here soon. :) I'm here to show you my projects I have made with the March Kits. I have used the Main Kit, the Mixed Media Kit, the Flower Add-On and the Embellishment Add-On. I love how they all work together perfectly!

My first project is a layout where I have used papers from the Main Kit. I misted the newspaper resist canvas from Prima with Starburst Spray from Lindy's Stamp Gang - I love the effect!

Here is a layout with one of the cutest kittens. :) I think the gem dots from Prima are so beautiful!

This is a layout with me and my youngest daughter Emma - always with a smile! I have stamped the background with clear stamps from the Kaisercraft Madame Boutique Stamp Set.

There is a chipboard book in the Mixed Media Kit that is so gorgeous. I added a big burlap flower to the front page and decorated it with a chipboard telephone from FabScraps. I used all the remaining ribbons and tied them on the book rings.

Thanks for looking and make sure to check out all of the kits in the C'est Magnifique Store. It has been great fun to create with the March Kits!

Djamila's March Kit Projects and Videos

Hi!

It's Djamila, and I'm happy to share with you my projects made with the beautiful March Main Kit!

First, I made a layout with my dear Gaya:

I love this combination of turquoise and brown Kaisercraft papers.

I also used the Maya Road Tu-Tu Tulle Flowers with Gems and made a flower with the Ruby Rock-It Mother Nature Trimmings.

Here's the video tutorial:

My second layout is more colorful, again with my daughter Gaya:

I used the rest of my turquoise paper and the FabScraps "Darling" chipboard. I colored the chipboard with gesso, inks and clear embossing powder.

The butterfly was perfect for making a fairy effect.

Here's the video tutorial:

Another March Kit Project by Evelyn

Hi all, Evelyn here again today sharing one more March Kit project. Do you ever use postcards for your scrapbooking pages? There are many wonderful postcards you can find, and I thought, I should make a page with one of them. At the moment I'm for health at the North Sea and I wanted to make a page for myself to remember the good time I'm spending here. I used again the Main Kit - Haute Couture, the Flower Add-On, the Embellishment Add-On and the Magnifique Mixed Media Kit.

from my stash: stamp, amber nuggets, fridge magnet, starfish

For my flower cluster I bought a dried starfish, a fridge magnet with a sea seal (a few days ago one was on the beach here!) and some little amber nuggets, which are found here at the North Sea. The natural colored flowers are perfect for this page!

I wanted to imitate the sea grass that grows in the dunes so I cut the Little Yellow Bicycle Decorative Edge Cardstock into pieces and glued it on the background.

Thank you for dropping by today! I hope you feel a little bit inspired - and don´t forget to come back and see, what the girls from our fabulous design team made with the March Kit!
