Maria's April Projects

Hello,

Maria here today to share my projects from the April Kit.
I have had so much fun with these kits, they are absolutely gorgeous!

I have used all of the April kits mixed together on my projects. The match perfectly!

My first project is a layout where I used the frame that comes in the Embellishment Kit. I think the Valentine Vine from Prima is so beautiful.

On this layout I have used flowers from the Flower Add-On and the papers from Lemoncraft are found in the Main Kit. Behind the photo you can see the chipboard Folkart Frame from Blue Fern Studios.

My third layout is a picture of my daughter and our dog. Again, a mixture of all of the kits :)

Here I've used the butterfly stencil that can be found in the Mixed Media Kit to create my background.

My last project is the hanger that can be found in the Mixed Media Kit. :)

I hope I have inspired you today. Make sure to check out the kits in the store, they can all be found here.
Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Olga's April Kit Projects

Hello everyone! Olga here today sharing my April Kit creations. This kit is absolutely beautiful, delicate and perfect for Spring. I really enjoyed working with this kit!

First, I want to share page about me and my hope. This kit is so perfect for some sweet projects!

Paper from Lemoncraft is dense and can withstand any experiments with paints and is very versatile, because it can make the work of different styles!

So, I did two mixed media layouts: vintage and freestyle.

And two romantic cards for your inspiration! Butterflies and flowers are cut from patterned paper.

I hope I have inspired you today! I have really enjoyed playing with this kit! If you are interested in the April Kit or Add-Ons a limited amount of kits are available for purchase from the C'est Magnifique Store while supplies last!

Evelyn's April Kit Projects

Hello and happy Easter! Evelyn here to share my April projects with you! I had so much fun using the beautiful things from the April Main Kit, the Flower Add-On, the Embellishment Add-On  and the Magnifique Mixed Media Kit for all my layouts.

My first Layout is a real fun page. The photos show my daughter with two of her friends, dressed up for carnival. You can see how much fun they had.

From my stash: Gelatos, black Multimarker, gem crowns, gems, stamps and inks, red hearts and a snippet of ribbon

For the second layout I worked with the April sketch. I used again a photo of my pretty daughter Linda. I worked with materials from the April Main Kit and all the Add-Ons and I made a video from start to finish - hope, you enjoy!
from my stash: gesso, home made modeling paste, mists, stamps and ink, pearl pens

For my next layout I experimented a bit with photo sizes - well, it is a bit different and I'm not sure, if I like it or not.

from my stash: corrugated cardstock, gesso, mists, stamps and ink, cheese cloth, stencil and modeling paste, punch

For my last layout I took a photo of myself. Most of the time I don't like pictures of me, but this one is O.K. I took this selfie when I stayed at the North Sea a few weeks ago on a walk on the beach. I made a video tutorial for this layout too - I hope, you enjoy!

from my stash: gel medium, gesso, mists, stamps and ink, washi tape, cardstock sand and pink, gems
Here are some close ups:

Here's the video:

I hope I have inspired you today! I have really enjoyed playing with this kit! If you are interested in the April  Kit or Add-Ons a limited amount of kits are available for purchase from the C'est Magnifique Store while supplies last!

Second Chance Saturday with Deonna

Hi C'est Magnifique fans! Deonna here today sharing a layout that I created for Second Chance Saturday. From time to time we will choose a Saturday to share projects created with past kits or items from the store that were designed by a talented team member or one of the artistic crafters who purchase our kits. Today I'm sharing a fresh floral page that I designed with patterned papers from the Prima Zephyr collection, an oldie but goodie!

Now that the weather is warming up and the flowers are in bloom, I'm looking to bring some of the beauty of Spring into my craft room. The fresh blues and fiery pinks, oranges and yellows present in the Zephyr collection has me thinking Spring!

I selected flowers from my stash to complement the colors on the piece of Zephyr Angelus patterned paper. I arranged the flower clusters on three areas around the oval focal point to help the eye move around the page. I was careful to not cover the cute little lady bugs on the oval border!

I like to use the end of a paint brush to curl the wire stems that are attached to some of the flowers to add a touch of whimsy to my page.

I used the Martha Stewart Flower Patch Corner Punch on a piece of Zephyr Zanella patterned paper to create an oval-shaped paper to set inside the large white space in the center of the Zephyr Angelus patterned paper.

My page is ready ready for photos!

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope I have inspired you to reach back into your stash and bring out some of your older collections.

Deonna's April Kit Projects

Hi! Deonna here today sharing the layouts that I created with the April Kit. This kit is absolutely beautiful and I had a lot of fun cutting and layering patterned papers and flowers on my projects this month. The vibrant pink and teal floral accents help to brighten up my pages and the stunning floral prints in this kit have me thinking Spring!

I used the small black canvas from the Mixed Media Kit to frame my photo. I dressed up the edge of the canvas with C'est Magnifique Mystic Pink Embossing Powder. I also used the embossing powder to color the chipboard, chalkboard tags and feathers on this page. I used the butterfly stencil from the Mixed Media Kit with gesso and embossing powder to add butterflies to the background of the page.

I loved the piece of Lemoncraft Just Love Me 3 patterned paper included in the Mixed Media Kit and wanted to play up the beautiful flower print. I embellished the paper with flowers from the Flower Add-On and Embellishment Add-On and paper flowers that I made by hand.

I distressed the edges of the page and painted them with the Juniper Acrylic Paint Dabber included in the Mixed Media Kit. This page is ready for a photo! I think it would be perfect for an Easter or Wedding themed shadowbox.

I hope I have inspired you today! I have really enjoyed playing with this kit! If you are interested in the April  Kit or Add-Ons a limited amount of kits are available for purchase from the C'est Magnifique Store while supplies last!

April Sketch Challenge

We have a new Sketch Challenge for you!
The April sketch was created by C'est Magnifique Designer Debbie Burns.

How about some inspiration from our Design Team?
Take a look at how they have used this sketch, along with our April Kit, "In Bloom."

We would love to see YOU use our sketch as inspiration for a layout. We have very few rules for our Sketch Challenge. As a matter of fact, we have just one rule, we want your layout to resemble the sketch. Feel free to flip or rotate the sketch, but we do want to look at your layout and be able to see that you used the sketch. Other than that, you are free to use anything you have in your personal stash, and we welcome all styles of scrapbooking.

We will award two prizes for this sketch challenge. The first prize will be a collection of paper, flowers, chipboard, and embellishments selected by C'est Magnfique's owner Deonna. The winner of the prize package will also be able to shop in the C'est Magnifique Store, and have their purchases sent with the prize package, so that means you won't have to pay for shipping!

Our second prize, a $10 gift certificate to the C'est Magnifique Store, will be awarded randomly to one of our participants who obviously uses one of our kits to create their Sketch Challenge layout.

We will also choose 5 (or maybe more) layouts to feature on our blog!
You have the entire month of April to submit your layout.

What do you have to do to enter our sketch challenge?

1. You must be a follower of our blog. It's easy to become follower - see the left sidebar.

2. Create a layout using the sketch, and add it to our blog using the Inlinkz tool below. Please link to the blog post where you have uploaded your layout (not your general blog address). If you do not have a blog, you may link to an online gallery.

The deadline for entering the sketch challenge is midnight, April 30, 2015 (US time).
Have fun with the sketch. We can't wait to see how you use it!
