Crafting With Kids - May Kit Edition

Hi C'est Magnifique fans! Deonna here today sharing a fun event that I hosted for my Granddaughters. They invited some of their friends over for a scrappy get-together. Our kits are fantastic for crafters of all ages! Each child received several sheets of patterned paper from the Papermania Simply Floral Collection and embellishments from the May Flower and Embellishment Add-Ons. The girls are very excited to share their work! Please enjoy some before and after pics!

Didn't these girls do a fantastic job?!

After a fun afternoon of scrapping, the girls enjoyed a sweet treat.

There are 32 pieces of patterned paper in the May Main Kit and they are all different. The mix of floral prints, dots, stripes and doilies in a colorful palette are super fun to work with -- just look at these smiling faces! If you're searching for something fun to do with your kids this Summer, pick up a May Kit and an Add-On or two. There are plenty of supplies to share in this kit and the fun memories will last a lifetime!

Deonna's May Kit Layout

Hi C'est Magnifique fans! Deonna here today sharing the layout I created with the May Main Kit, May Flower and Embellishment Add-Ons and the May Magnifique Mixed Media Kit. I have to say that I absolutely love this kit! There are 32 pieces of patterned paper in this kit and they are all different. The mix of floral prints, dots, stripes and doilies in a colorful palette was super fun to work with. If you're an artist that likes to color with the entire box of crayons, this kit is for you!

I looped the multicolored floss onto the back of a punched piece of patterned paper to create an interesting border.

I built up layers of punched papers and die-cuts from the Embellishment Add-On under my photo.

I inked the Blue Fern Studios Deco Shelf Chipboard with the Clearsnap Colorbox Shy Blue Pigment Brush Pad and then sealed it with the Clear Wow! Embossing Powder.

I added a flower cluster and bow to finish the page.

I hope I have inspired you! Thanks so much for stopping by today! The May Kit and Add-Ons and the Mixed Media Kit are available for purchase now from the C'est Magnifique Store. If you can find some extra time this month, we'd love to have you join our May Sketch Challenge!

Catherine's May Kit Projects + Farewell

Hello everyone! Catherine here today sharing with you the projects I've created with the May Kit. I use the May Main Kit and the Flower Add-On. For this month, I created four layouts and a card for my mother.

For this layout, I cut the flowers from the pattern paper included in the kit. On top of it, I put a fuschia flower from the Flower Add-On to add dimension.

For this page, I use the Prima Blue Moon Wax Cord to make circles under my papers. This adds a little bit of texture to my layout.

Here, I use modeling paste, a stencil and stamps to create my background. I also cut flowers from the patterned paper.

For this page, I used the stitched Prima flowers included in the kit. I loved these!

Here's the card I made for my mother.

I hope you enjoyed my projects. Have a crafty day!

Maria's May Kit Projects

Hello,

Maria here to share my projects from the beautiful May Kits. The kits this month are absolutely gorgeous and the papers from the Papermania Simply Floral Collection has been great to work with!

My first layout is very clean and simple. I've used the stickers and the buttons that come in the Embellishment Add-On.

My second layout has flowers from the Flower Add-On. I love the small buttons! :)

My third layout is when my oldest daughter turned 11 a couple of years ago. We always go fishing on her birthday and she loves it.

The paper that comes in the main kit is so beautiful and here I've added just a couple of flowers and embellishments from the different kits and created a set of cards.

Finally, the Gatefold Journal from Prima from the Mixed Media Kit.

Thanks for stopping by. Make sure to check out the kits in the Store.

Have a great day!

Maria

Olga's May Kit Projects

Hey there! Olga here today. When I received my May Kit, I immediately sat down to work, because it's incredibly inspiring! Papermania Simply Floral Collection - Beautiful paper from which you can cut out a lot! Today I'll show you what I created.

My first layout is with my daughter Maria. I just love this photo and this paper is well suited for cheerful pages!

On this page I added a sheet of white cardstock and watercolors.

Оn the third page, I combined the two sheets of paper for a fun floral and stripe design. I also liked the Prima Doodle Deux Cardstock Alphabet Stickers - very good assistant in any work!

I have really enjoyed playing with this kit! If you are interested in the May Kit or Add-Ons a limited amount of kits are available for purchase from the C'est Magnifique Store while supplies last!

Evelyn's May Kit Projects

Hello all! Evelyn here today and I want to show you what I made with the beautiful flowery May Kit.

My first layout is about my sister and her very pretty big dog. He is a little bit crazy, but friendly, and of course the very best friend of my sister.
from my stash: cardstock, Gesso, stencil and modeling paste, 13@rts gold glitter strips, glass pearls
For this layout I used the Main May Kit, the Flower Add-On and the Mixed Media Kit. I absolutely fell in love with the Mica Powder, It adds such a wonderful golden shimmer!

My next layout shows my daughter. She likes to take selfies and I am allowed to use them for my layouts - lucky me! :)

from my stash: cardstock, Gesso, punches, crackle accents, stamps and inks and mists, doily
I used the Main May Kit, the Flower Add-On, the Embellishment Add-On and the Mixed Media Kit for this layout. I made a video for you and I hope you enjoy it!

My video tutorial for you:

My third layout is a clean and calm one, a bit meditative. I used a picture out of a pad called "Cheerfulness." I worked after the May Sketch from our Challenge.  I used the Main May Kit and the Flower Add-On.

from my stash: cardstock, Gesso, modeling paste, stamps, mist
For my last project I altered the Gatefold Journal from the Mixed Media Kit.

From my stash I used a stamped image (LaBlanche) on the front and the back. I covered the journal with crackle paste for interesting texture (I love cracks), and once dry colored it with Deco Art  Raw Umber Antiquing Cream and a Ranger Adirondack Acrylic Paint Dabber in Juniper. For the edges, some Distress inks in Walnut Stain and Vintage Photo.

Then, I added some of the beautiful flowers from the kits and the wooden leaves from the Main May Kit. The leaves were painted with Gesso and stamped. Last, but not least, I added a little clasp from Prima. At the spine I glued a little metal heart, also from my stash.
