February's C'est Magnifique Progressive Pages

Hello, C'est Magnifique Friends!  Welcome to the C'est Magnifique's Progressive Pages !  This challenge will accommodate all levels of scrappers from the beginners/clean scrappers to all you mixed media artists! Greetings and welcome back!   Kathleen here with a fun layout using this month's Enchanted Gardens Kit.

Most scrappers will have a few paper punches laying around and this layout gives you the opportunity to put  them in use.  This is a doily lace punch and I opted not to tear off the top strip.
I randomly used the punch on all four sides then glued strips of the green print paper behind them.
Next I cut off the tail end of my arrows. with the arrow heads facing opposing directions I adhered them 2" from the top and bottom.
My picture is matted with three different patterned papers using different punches randomly to offer more texture and movement and set it on the lower arrow.

Next I selected a variety of objects from the "Recall" and "Timeless" papers and cut them out.  I then created a montage using these cutouts on the top arrow and a couple of items for the bottom arrow and slipped in a sticker or two.

The Enchanted Gardens kit come with this gorgeous beaded ribbon which I placed on top of my montage.
Next using the C'est Magnifique Pink Bubble paint found in last months mix media kit I high lighted the areas around the arrows.  Next I stamped around those areas with a chicken wire stamp followed by a leafy vine stamp.
I completed my layout by creating a floral arrangement with the lush green leaves, miniature flowers and butterfly.

(Main kit only)

stash item: paints and punches

A Couple of close ups.

I hope this has inspired you to let your own creativity take flight.  I can't wait to see your creation.  Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out the C'est Magnifique store!

Shanna's February C'est Magnifique Kit Projects

Hello to all you lovelies out there. Shanna and I am here today to share my creations I created for C'est Magniqifue using their newest February kits.

I made two videos of creations I made using this kit. Let me just say it goes on and on. There are so many possibilities and you get so much for your dollar it was crazy.

For my first project, I just love these papers. Check out the video I made while making this layout.

*C'est Magnifique provided me with kits and product to create these projects. The opinions I share are solely my own.*

Second creation, I had a blast making. I love the embellishment pieces that came in the kits. Check out the video I made for creating this piece.

I couldn't help myself as I loved the tag layout I created so much I made more tags!

Teresa's share for the month of February

Hi everyone it's Teresa here today with my share of all the fun things i created with the February Kit from C'est Magnifique.  I wanted to try and really think outside the box and be creative so i only used the basic kit for all my things and wowser did i ever get alot of things made with it.

So first up i started doing some pages to catch up with all the photos that i have.  This beautiful gold frame and mixed media looking paper was perfect for my photo.  The rich golds and black went perfect and i used just bit and pieces of it for the backround.  Then i added the little paper pocket and some of the butterflies that came in the set.  You also get these really gorgeous keys so i used just one to tie with a gold ribbon on the side.

I loved a the neat words in this set too.  There was so much to pick from and it just turned out perfectly with what i wanted to say on the page... love that kind of magic.

This page was a super quick and simple one since the paper already has the flowers on it.  I cut it down to frame it out a little more and the added the photo at the right.  The dies i thought gave it a little more interest with the lacy design and then i added flowers and some letters and a few of the tags i was telling you about.

This one was super easy to make because it has a page in the set with lots of premade
sentiments and other fun goodies.  For this one i added some extra die cuts and a strip
of the black paper and then layered it over leftover pieces of the green and then some
white and pink cardstock that i had in my stash.  Super easy peasy!!

This page was another quick one where i cut a piece of the flower printed paper and adhered it to the left side and then glued the photo onto a bunch of layered pieces of paper and the doilies that you get in the set.  The string i pulled apart to make it more lacy looking and the flowers and die cuts went perfect on both sides to frame the photo.  The little flowers i punched out from the paper and added a little bit of the white gel in the centers.  I still need 2 more photos but it's a gift that i need to frame so i am going to find something neat to finish it for them later.

Aren't the flowers and things so pretty in this set.  It's super easy to use for all those family photos an events that you have been meaning to get done.  And i even had more product to make the cards that you see below....

And for these i used some of the cute paper sentiment pieces that i was telling you about and simply framed them and added some ribbons and butterflies.  The card on the right i did as an easel card so that it can stand up and i also used a bit of an adhesive border on it to jazz it up a little more... I really love these.

And for my jar (since i am getting low on things right about now) I decided to make it up to store some pretty things in my scraproom.  I covered the lid with paper and then added the flowers and leaves from the set to make a pretty bouquet.  Then i tied some of the left over string that came in the set around the top and added another of the keys that i got.  The tag is made from the paper and just matted with red and black papers and then i tied some black ribbon with another key on it to finish it.  It would make a great gift this way and i could even wrap a small gift card and put it in the jar maybe and wha laa... guess i can decide later on this one!

Here is a closeup picture of all the pretty flowers that you get in the set!

And lastly since i work at Disneyland i had to scrap some of my coworkers hanging out with Thor one day.  This was such a cute picture and these papers really went great with it. I like to do my pages with lots of papers but i also like to get them done quick so all of these things i posted i did in one afternoon.  And i still had lots of fun tearing and inking and adding bits of stenciled pastes to all of them... it was great!

Here you can see how i did the letters and the stenciling.  I love to add texture to all my projects and think it adds so much to them.  And it's really fun to get a little messy!!

And last but not least i have a few tags to share.  I have a fun little box that i keep tags in for gifts to give so this will be a great addition to have for the future.

Be sure and stop by the store to order the February kit for this month and there are
lots of add ons that you can get too... don't forget to stop back to get more fabulous
inspiration from our design team with it.

Thanks for stopping over and have a really wonderful and creative day!!

Kathy Bradley's February C'est Magnifique Enchanted Garden Kit projects

Gosh, it's already time to reveal my February Enchanted Garden kit from C'est Magnifique!  Just jump on this link and it will take you to see the gorgeous Main Kit, Mixed Media Kit and add-ons!

Personal stash - Beacon's 3 in 1 adhesive.  The photo was from
Google free images.

For this layout, I used elements from the Main Kit, Mixed Media Kit and add-ons.  There are so many elements amongst the Main Kit, Mixed Media Kit, Embellishment Add-On and Flower Add-On - so much awesomeness to play with.

This page contains a photo of my Mom and my sister sitting in the backyard of our house.  I believe my sister was 5 months old or so and my Mom was 21.  I don't remember this house - as I came along 5 years later and we were living in a different home.

I used lots of the elements from the Authentique collection for the layering.  Again - I used elements from each of the kits.

Personal stash - Beacon's 3 in 1 adhesive and picture
was from Google free images.

My most favorite element on this page was that adorable bird's nest - it has little pearls for the eggs - and it's so sweet!  Again, lots of elements from each of the kits and add-ons!

Personal stash - Beacon's 3 in 1 and glue gun.

Well, if you look closely - it is a photo of my sister and I on Easter Sunday - I was 6 and she was 11.  And, please take note of the plates on our heads - or, really they are hats - but geez - mine does look like a plate with ribbons.  Anyway, each Easter, we would always have to have new dresses, gloves, shoes, Spring coats and hats.  We would go to Easter Sunday Mass and then to my Grandma's for a large Easter dinner with our family.  This photo was taken at our Grandmother's house - and the parakeet's name was Petey - who I remember being very cranky!

Personal stash - glue gun.  Photo from Google Free photos.

I saw this design on Pinerest and a few days later I saw that the design belonged to a page created by Robbie Herrington Heinrich and her blog is Just the Scrap.

I, again, used all the kits and add-ons from the February kit - that lace is just gorgeous!

Personal stash - hot glue gun.  Photo - Google Free photos.

There were so many gorgeous flowers in this kit - and I created a huge cluster around the photo of this pretty Gypsy lady!

My last 2 projects from the February kit are a tag and a pocket page, as shown below.

The tags were made with some of the scraps left from the pages. The pocket page was made from one whole sheet of paper cut to fit the 8 pockets.

Thanks for taking a peek.
