Shanna March Kit Creations

C'est Magnifique March Kit

 "Butterfly Garden"

Hello to all you crafty people out there. Shanna here today and I am excited to share what I created with this month's kit!
This is a very special kit this month with all the add ons and other kits rolled into one!
The papers are the beautiful Blue Fern Studios "Timeless" collection.

Here is my first layout. I love the paper collection, the flowers, and the embellishments in this kit.

This is my second project. I created a little wall or desk decor using a piece of chipboard that was in the kit along with several of the embellishment pieces as well.

My third creation is another layout which I created a video for.

Check out the video here if you would like to know how I created the layout.

For my last creation, I couldn't resist doing one more layout. I finally got some new photos printed and thought some of my black and white photos would go perfect with this kit.

I loved using the flowers and embellishments from the kit as well as using a new stencil from my collection along with some black thread from my stash.

I hope you found some inspiration and thank you for stopping by today!

Erin Reed's March Kit Inspiration Projects

The March kit is amazing.  It is just jam packed to the gills with so many lovely embellishments!!  I can't decided what is my favorite!!  I made a little unboxing video of all the amazing goodies in this kit.  Enjoy!!

My first project is a couple of cards.  They are simple and easy, super quick to make for those days you need a card quick!  I just layered some of the PL card on top of layers of cream cardstock and patterned paper, misted it a bit with the mist in the kit, added in a misted and inked chipboard title, and a few little pearls.  That is it!!

The picture is of my husband and I at the funeral home the day before the funeral.  We chose to have her body embalmed, but just for us to view.  We felt it would be odd for our friends and family to see a dead baby, and I still feel a bit weird letting people see the pictures of here like this, I would rather everyone see her alive and happy.  When we went to view her that day a friend came with the program Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep to take pictures of our last moments with our daughter.  I have not looked at these pictures since the day of the funeral when she gave them to me.  They went on a shelf and I really just have not had the strength to see them again and bring up all the memories of that painful day.  Time has gone by, and my son who is now 10 (he was 3 when she passed) is still asking tons of questions about what happened to her and asked to see the pictures.  There was a lot of crying on both of our parts while viewing the pictures, and I decided it was time to do something with them.

My emotions are fully obvious in the picture and tried to convey that feeling of pain, anguish, love, frustration, hurt, numbness, and just anger into my layout.  I used a ton of paper tearing, layers of gesso, other mediums, stencils, splatters, misting, and really just getting mad at my layout beating it all to hell as a poured my heart into the piece.

The next project is a little mixed media bookmark I made.

Here is a complete video tutorial on how to make this super cool bookmark!!

C'est Magnifique March Kit

 "Butterfly Garden"

Hello my scrappy friends, Kathleen here with you today sharing my March kit "Butterfly Garden"  projects.
This is a very special kit this month with all the add ons and other kits rolled into one!
The papers are the beautiful Blue Fern Studios "Timeless" collection.

This kit has so many wonderful word chippies, various colored pearls, flowers and paints.

Just look at the wonderful colors.  It's such an outstanding kit.  I love the embossing powder with the flecks of white in it.  On this layout I used embossing medium on a stamp then applied my embossing powder and sealed it with a hot air dryer.
Stash items: micro beads and purple ribbon.

Now for my final layout.  Here I started by putting a layer of gesso on the base paper then spritzing with the beautiful purple purple paint. Then I came back using  stencil and modeling paste. I finished by layering a few of the cut out card and die cuts.

My final project is this lovely trinket box.  I used the modeling paste that comes with this kit as a thick paint to coat the box.  I cut out four pieces of the print paper and glued them in the boxes.  Then I cut out a few of my favorite photos places them in the boxes and finished with a few die cuts and blooms.  The blooms came from my stash.

I hope you have enjoyed these projects.  Please stop by all month long to see what the other very talented team mates have created with this amazing kit.

Kathy Bradley - March "Butterfly Garden" C'est Magnifique March Kit

Hi - Kathy Bradley here today.  The beautiful Ces't Magnifique March 2016 kit Butterfly Garden has beautiful Blue Fern Studio Timeless collection, as well as flowers, embellishments, chippies, mixed media paints and sprays - so much!

I completed 4 layouts this month, as well as altering the Off the Page project - a wooden icon box - it was great fun and I liked the way it came out.  I also did a tag - which I believe is the last photo below.

From my personal stash, I used Beacon's 3 in 1 adhesive, a punch and a few small flowers.  I also used a few ephemera photos from Finnabair.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure and check out the most gorgeous Butterfly Garden kit from the C'est Magnifique shop.

C'est Magnifique February Kit

Hello friends!  Debbie with you today sharing my February kit "Enchanted Garden" projects.  I'll begin with telling you that I get all the kits from C'est Magnifique every month and they are always beautiful and full of amazing products and this kit is no exception.  I used a little of something from every kit to create these.  The main kit features KaiserCraft and Prima flowers and lots of fun embellishments that are perfectly coordinated to help you make several projects.

This layout is one of my favorites.  I added some Iced Enamels from my stash to the frame and love how it gave this layout a Rustic Chic feel.

This layout I fussy cut some background pieces to tuck under the flowers and photos giving it some dimension

I hope you enjoyed these projects and remember to stop by for the March Kit projects.  The design team is hard at work with the kit and you will be inspired to be sure!
