Hello all my crafty friends,
Here is a project I made with the chipboard pieces “starfish, coral and the frame from the butterflies” from Southern Ridge Trading Company. You can get more information at #southernridgetradingcompany
I took this picture of some sponges while at a boardwalk store on the beach. Something about this photo just got to me. I thought these chipboard pieces went well with the picture.
I first painted all the Chipboard pieces and then used several different colors of embossing powders to give them a natural look.
I cut my photo and matted it with like papers. I used a beach scene main paper to pull it all together,
I had this quote that just worked so well with all the elements of the page so I printed it on cream card stock and used the embossed “frame from the butterfly chipboard”. I think it all came together well and might just put it in a shadow box frame!
I hope you enjoy!

Beautiful Moments
Hello all my crafty friends,
Here is a project I made with the chipboard pieces “Moments and a butterfly” from Southern Ridge Trading Company. You can get more information at #southernridgetradingcompany or https://cestmagnifiquekits.blogspot.com
We took this picture while on a cruise. I thought these chipboard pieces went well with the picture and the paper I had.
I first rubbed the Chipboard pieces this color from Faber Castell and then used clear embossing powder to give them a mottled shinny look.
I cut my photo and matted them with like papers. I used flowers to accent main paper to pull it all together. I also bent the butterfly wings up slightly to give it more of a 3D look.
I love this picture of “US” and and with the word Beautiful printed on the paper I like how it turned out!
I hope you enjoy!

Memories
Hello all my crafty friends,
Here is a project I made with the chipboard pieces “Memories” and a lovely scroll from Southern Ridge Trading Company. You can get more information at #southernridgetradingcompany or https://cestmagnifiquekits.blogspot.com
I had a several beautiful picture’s of my Nephews’ wedding and I thought this one showcased the chipboard items well!
I first inked the Chipboard pieces and then embossed them with clear embossing powder.
I cut my photos and matted them with like papers. I added crystal glaze to several key areas on the paper, added a few flowers and some scalloped ribbon to tie it all together.
I think it all came together well and the focus is on the “Memories” of the day with this new family!
I hope you enjoy!

Jake
Hello all my crafty friends,
Here is a project I made with the chipboard pieces “wonderful, sweet, loveable, angel, charming, incredible and amazing” from Southern Ridge Trading Company. You can get more information at #southernridgetradingcompany or https://cestmagnifiquekits.blogspot.com
I found this old picture of my first doggie named Jake. He went to doggy heaven in 2013 after 14 years! We loved him so. I thought these words described him so well! After all look how cute he was even though I made him wear bunny ears.
I first painted all the Chipboard words and then gave them a second coat with a final coat of matt clear.
I cut my photo and matted them with like papers. I used a black and white main paper but then used watercolors to bring out the highlights of the pinks and green of the leaves.
I think it all came together well and showed how much he was loved!
I hope you enjoy!

Believe in yourself
Hello my Scrappy friends,
This is a special page because of the picture! In my other life as a nurse I took care of patients and this person is very special to me! He still loves to see me visit and give him a big hug. You can get more information at #southernridgetradingcompany or https://cestmagnifiquekits.blogspot.com
I used the chipboard pieces “ believe” & “in yourself” and it is special as he is a very special person to me!
I cut out the ivy leaves and berries from the circuit, matted the pic from some Christmas papers. I inked all edges. I inked the chipboard pieces with green ink and then embossed with clear embossing powder.
The end result is a festive page with an uplifting feel! To see more information see Southern Ridge Trading Company at #southernridgetradingcompany
Happy New Year!

Life is a journey of the soul!
Good morning Crafty Friends,
This post was fun for me. I used some old items in new ways.
I used the frame piece and the saying “ Life is a journey of the soul” and the snowboarder from Southern Ridge Trading Company. Check them out at #southernridgetradingcompany.
I painted them first with a white paint and let them dry. I then found some really old mica flakes in a mason jar that had been my grandma’s (at least 50 plus years old and she was the original crafter, lol) and some small broken glass pieces.
I started my first layer at the top the snowboard and worked my way down creating layers to look like snow shooting off the board as it slices through the snow. I covered the snowboarder’s body in mod podge and took the broken glass pieces and sprinkled them all over to cover and look like he had been covered in snow on his way down the mountain. This piece was very heavy and loaded with modge podge so it took a while to dry. I took an additional title to complete my page and colored it the same way. I then covered the saying with clear matte finish.
While all pieces were drying I cut and mated my photo and papers. I adhered the two chipboard pieces with strong liquid glue and pop dotted the matted photo it to add dimension and put it all together.
The results I think show a fun filled day in the snow!
Thanks and keep crafting,
Deonna
