Evelyn's July Kit Projects

Hi peeps, nice to have you here! It´s Evelyn here to show you my July projects, made with the Old Glory Kit. Again I had much fun playing with the wonderful kits. I used the Main Kit, Magnifique Mixed Media Kit, Flower Add-On, and the Embellishment Add-On.

For my first layout I used only the Main kit.
From my stash: black pen, stencil and Gel Matt Medium, stamps and ink, mists; Photo: flickr
One of my dreams is to visit New York one day. Well, may be my dream would come true faster, if I would spend less money on scrapbook goodies! ;). Some close ups:

For my second layout I used the Main kit, the Flower Add-On and the alphabet stickers from the Embellishment Add-on. You can find my start to finish video here.
From my stash: dry wall tape, threat, white gel pen, stamps and ink, lindy´s stamp gang magicals; photo: flickr

For my third layout I used the Main Kit. I didn't embellish too much, because I wanted to lead the focus to the photo. The leaves are drawn with a pencil.

From my stash: Gesso, mists, bookpages, pencil, chicken wire, glitter fabric and fabric; photo: flickr

For my last layout I used a photo of my big sister and I, when she was two years old and I was one year old...50 years ago, unbelievable! I used the Main Kit, the Mixed Media Kit, the Flower Add-On and the Embellishment Add-On.
From my stash: Gel Matt Medium, Gesso, mists, stamps and ink,

Here you can see the great opportunities offered by the papers from Tim Holtz. Every pattern of the papers are in three different sizes in the stash!

I had a play with the Tim Holtz texture tools from the mixed media kit. I applied a layer of Gel Medium, made my texture, and left it to dry. Then I added some mists to color the background.

My last project is a little quick and easy card - easy, because in the paper stash there are patterned papers in card size! Only cut it out and decorate the card!

From my stash: distress ink walnut stain, red threat

That's it from me today!
I hope you enjoyed my projects.
I would love to see what you create with this fabulous Old Glory Kit!
Thanks for stopping by the C'est Magnifique blog today!
