Layouts from our Design Team

Today we're back to show you some layouts from our design team using the September Kit, "Fly Away".  We still have a few kits available in the store.  This kit features the beautiful Huntington Garden line from Riddersholm Design. 

"This Makes My Heart Soar" by Erin Blegen

There's no doubt about it, my boys are ALL BOY! They are beautiful, sweet children- but they can fight with the best of them- and they can do it ALL.DAY.LONG!  However, it's moments like this one that really turns my heart to mush...it makes me hopeful of the day that they love each other as much as they love to fight with each other now, lol!

"Sibs" by Beverly Sams

This is one of the sons of the girl in my “Sibs” layout. I used the bottom portion of the Want2Scrap Bonnie’s Birdcage, flipped upside down, rounded off the corners and make a balloon out of it. I used an embossing folder on it, sprayed pretty heavily with the Lindy’s Stamp Gang Moon Shadow Mist in Smoky Sapphire which was also used on the Manor House Creations “Imagine” cocoa flower. I love how the mist takes to darker paper and makes the shimmer more pronounced. I used Distress embossing powder on the Leaky Shed ornate corner chipboard for the bottom part of the balloon. Several different colors of distress ink were used on the Heidi Swapp resist banners.

"Dream" by Camilla Ekman

I got a bit artistic when I made this page. I started by creating the background with the brick mask and gesso and added some of the mist from the main kit. Then I built a frame around the photo by using stamps and flowers.
