For the first layout I used an old photo of my mother back from the early 60s.
from my stash: stencil and Archival Ink Potting soil, Distress ink seedless preserves |
I matted the photo with the cork from the Main Kit and the pretty crochet doily, cut in the half. I love the acetate clock faces! At last I added some Prima Say It In Crystals Gems for a little bling.
The wood letters I first coated with Gesso and then colored with mist. I used a stencil with the Antique Mocha paint included in the Mixed Media Kit to add a print to the background. The stamp is from the Mixed Media Kit too.
The pretty tulle flower I colored with Lindy's Stamp Gang mist.
My second project is a little "quick-and-easy" card. The papers in the Main Kit are so gorgeous and the flowers and leaves from the Flower Add-On are so very nice, so you don´t need much more - only add a little picture, a word sticker and some interest on the background - done!
from my stash: Gesso, picture from LaBlanche |
My next layout I wanted to make romantic. The lace patterned paper from the Main Kit is perfect for the little vintage picture.
from my stash: white cardstock, modeling paste, pearl pen, little white flowers, Embossing powder white, Lindy´s Stamp Gang mists, Distress ink worn lipstick, stickles |
The Kaisercraft Aubergine Paper Blooms are so elegant! And look at the tiny clothes hanger - isn't it gorgeous?
I framed the picture with Ruby Rock-It Mother Nature Trimmings. For the background matting I cut one of the papers in pieces, distressed and inked it.
I enjoyed to work with this kit very much. You can see one more layout on the first of March for the March Sketch Challenge reveal.
Thanks for stopping by today and please don't forget to check back to see what else the team has to share with you!
