Valerie Serfozo - Design Team Coordinator

Hi there. I'm Valerie Serfozo and I am so excited to be a member of the C’est Magnifique design team. I live in Ohio with my husband Mark and our little dog, Kiefer (who loves to sleep under my work table). We have a grown son and a sweet granddaughter. I work part-time as the financial secretary at a church. I have always loved photos, so it only seems natural that in 2000 I decided to explore the world of scrapbooking. I was immediately captivated. I am amazed at how much the industry has grown since then.

When not working I am either scrapbooking, making cards, thinking about design, or in search of inspiration. I also love the art of mixed media and keep several ongoing art journals. I am a morning person, so my favorite time to scrap is early in the day with a cup of hot tea. You will never find me up at 2 a.m. finishing a page. If there were an additional 8 hours in a day I would read more, do more for others, and work on becoming a better photographer. I favor the mountains over the beach, and my dream is to spend several weeks in Italy.


Camilla Ekman - Design Team Member

I'm Camilla Ekman from southern Sweden. I work as a Montessori teacher and when I'm off work I do what I love most - that is of course scrapbooking. My favourite scrapping subjects are my two children, Julia and Filip, but also my sweet nieces and nephews. I have scrapped since early 2007 and enjoyed every minute of my hobby. Through scrapbooking I keep my memories alive but above all I get to be creative. I get to use my hands! I would say that I tend to scrap romantic and shabby. I love using flowers, bling swirls, lovely chipboard pieces and a lot of different dies and border punches. When I don't scrap I enjoy books, travelling and spending lots of time with friends. I am so proud and honoured to be a part of the C’est Magnifique Kit Club design team. I also design for Glitz Design, Blue Fern Studios, Maja Design and Once Upon A Sketch.

Erin Blegen - Design Team Member

Hi! My name is Erin Blegen, I'm 29 years old and live in rural Northeast Minnesota, USA. There, my hubby Josh and I make our home in a little cabin in the woods along with our 3 beautiful children. We enjoy anything the outdoors has to offer and we live a fairly simple lifestyle that most people would not choose (no running water for starters lol)- but it's a good, quiet life and we like it that way  

I first started scrapbooking back in 2007 when my first child was born, completed one album, and then quit until July 2010 when my second child was born. Since then, I haven't looked back! In that time I've played around a bit with my style and have broadened my interests into cards, tags, altered projects, etc. 

I'm a bit of a paper and flower collector, love to work with chipboard, experimenting with different mediums, and at the moment have a bit of an obsession with creating on canvas. I love staying busy (as if 3 kids don't keep me busy enough!) and currently I'm designing for Webster's Pages, Manor House Creations, Blue Fern Studios, C'est Magnifique Kit Club and Once Upon A..Sketch.


Keren Tamir - Design Team Member

My name is Keren Tamir and I'm 38 years old. I am a wife to a wonderful husband who is very supportive of my scrapbooking hobby and a mother of two amazing kids; a 10 year old boy and a 6 years old girl. I've been scrapbooking for 9 years and I mainly scrapbook about my family. I love to create and experiment with many different mediums and techniques.

My style is mainly Shabby chic. I use lots of flowers and vines in my projects. I also love using pastes and misting on my layouts. My style is always evolving and that’s one of the things I love about this art.

One of the main reasons I started scrapbooking was to preserve memories and photos for my children. However over the couple of years, I’ve started to enjoy another aspect of scrapbooking. I love the artistic outlet that it gives me. I love to create and I’m passionate about what I do.

I’m delighted to be designing for C'est Magnifique.  I’ve been subscribing to their kits for the past year and they are fabulous. I’m so honored to be designing along an amazing group of talented artists. This will be an amazing year!! 

Brit Sviggum - Design Team Member

 

My name is Brit. I live in a small town in the south of Norway called Egersund. I am married to my great and understanding husband, Levent, that I met in Turkey 10 years ago We have two children, a boy age 7, and a girl soon to be 4. You can find them on 99% of my layouts.

My interests are: scrapbooking, photography, traveling, reading craft magazines and of course being with my family.

I started scrapbooking after a holiday in America in 1999 ,where I found some scrapbooking equipment that I just had to buy and find out what to do with them. And the interest of this great hobby has just grown bigger and bigger for each year.

I am at the design team at Prima, CSI and Skissedilla ( a Norwegian sketch challenge blog). I also design for the English magazine Scrap365.

I don`t know exactly what to call my style. I guess it`s a kind of freestyle. A little bit storybook-like. I love cutting out my motifs and kind of place them into new scenes to make new stories!

I am so happy to be a part of this DT, and I can`t wait to start making layouts with these lovely kits.

Larissa Albernaz - Design Team Member

My name is Larissa Albernaz and I´m from São Paulo, Brazil. I´ve been married to my sweet husband Flávio for 12 years and we have an adorable daughter Isabela.

As a paper crafter, I have been scrapbooking for seven years. Along these years, scrapbooking has provided me a great sort of artistic possibilities and a lot of fun! In fact, I love scrapbooking because it provides me to  express myself in style, mixing paper, embellishments, colors, memories and a message.

While scrapbooking I pursue something that has sense to me, which inspires me and that can be different, interesting, cute, creative, colorful and fun!
I adore papers and creating page layouts or 3 dimensional pieces!. One of my life’s little pleasures is to cut, tear and distress papers, creating anything that translates the story I want to tell.

My style is eclectic, crafty. I love adding a lot of layers to my collages, including some paints or inks and I pay great attention to the details.

I´m also on the design team at Prima Marketing, Webster`s Pages, 7 Dots Studio, The Color Room, {Entreartistes} magazine, Imaginarium Designs Chipboards  and Yummy´s, a Brazilian online store.
