Ulrikas projects with the August kit!

It´s time to show all my projects created with the amazing August kit called Beautiful Stories!

First I created a book with my BIA. I needed a book to keep track on all my deadlines when it comes to my design teams. From now on I will have it all in prefect order!

I used papers, lace, fairie and the large flower from the Main Kit. I also added flowers from the Flower Add-on and some embillishment from the Embellie Add-on. The swirl chipboard I painted with green paint from the Mixed-media kit.

From my own stash I used: cardstock, chipboard, BIA, paint and ribbon.

My next project is bright and fun! Here I used supplies from the Main kit, Flower Add-on, Embellishment Add-on and from the Mixed-media kit.

I changed colors in to orange on some of the flowers by using the orange Color Bloom mist.

From my own stash I used a stencil, dies, cardstock and stamps.

This is my personal favorite! I used a very soft pink peachie color with beige. I added Gesso with a sponge to get a really soft and dreamy feeling.

I used supplies from the Main kit, Embellishment Add-on kit, Mixed-media kit and the Flower Add-on kit.

From my own stash I used: Gesso, doilies, Martha Stewart punch.

Here I made a soft background and added lots of green with my photo. I painted the fairie from the Main kit with the green kit from the Mixed-media kit.

I used supplies from the Main kit, Flower Add-on, Flower Add-on, Embellie Add-on and the Mixed-media kit.

From my own stash I used: stencil, leaves, dies, Martha Stewart punch and Gesso.

Last I thought I would show you my layout after this month sketch again. I played a bit with the background and used the stencil from the Mixed-media kit. I used all three sprays from the kits. The sketch is perfect for the paper scraps you might have left from the kits. Just tear them a bit and layer them under the photo.

From my own stash I used: Gesso, yellow paint, doilie, dies, pink ink.

Hi and Hello !

I'm Olga. I'm from Poland but currently I live with my boys and crazy cats in Berlin. I love scrapbooking and Mixed media arts. Every evening I'm trying to do something creative. I like to share my passion so i often do some videos and workshops. Mostly mixed Media techniques. I like messy style, with lots of splatters , metal embellishments.
I Don't like to waste thing so I often make some alter arts , or using everyday "trashes" in my works . Saving things and giving them brand new look is thing I like the most.
Lately I discover kits idea and since than I love it. Its awesome to have already selected and matched is totally new way of crafting for me. Instead digging for hours to find matching stuff in my drawers I can just sit, relax and create !

Olga has done two amazing projects with the kit so today I will share her first project and process video, come back in a few days to see what else she has created!!!

A Farewell from Camilla

Hi everybody!

Time to show you my layouts with the August kit. I have used the main kit, the flower add-on, the embellie add-on and the MMM kit. 

And it is also a farewell since this is my last month here at C'est Magnifiqe. I have designed with the kits for the past two and a half years and enjoyed every single moment. I am thankful for this ride. And I wish Deonna all the best with C'est Magnifique. It is a great kit club.

August reveal by Vicky Alberto

Hi, Vicky Here to reveal my projects made with the gorgeous "Beautiful Stories" August kit from C'est Magnifique kits. The kit features KaiserCraft and Manor House Creations papers as well as soooo many amazing embellishments (as always). Here we go... tons to see!

Up first is a summer display layout made with the fantastic kit sketch - perfect colors to complement my home decor. I used the Heidi Swap mist in the kit on the papers and also on the Prima garden fairy resins. Everything you see on this layout is from the main kit contents and a bit of the flower add-on. These were my favourite papers in the kit, plus the lace, flowers, chipboard, resins - oh my!

Here is the "oh so pretty" sketch designed by our newest DT member Sarah!

Next is a baby photo of my oldest son when he was just over a year old. Everything on this layout is from the main kit and the gorgeous flower add-on. The papers are such a perfect mix of collections!

This is a picture taken on my wedding day with my parents. The soft papers were perfect to complement the lush greenery behind us (in the Bahamas :) Again all of the elements on this layout are from the main kit and the gorgeous flower add-on - a MUST have for me.

I used some scraps from the previous layout to create a French thank you card using main kit contents and the flower add-on (plus a script stamp and some glitter from my stash).

Here is another card made with main kit contents and the flower add-on. This one features lots of distressing and some fussy cutting - such beautiful papers to work with!

Lastly, a wedding card featuring the Manor House Creations product in the main kit... plus a frame and a little crinkled seam binding from my stash.  The seam binding was originally cream and I tinted it using again the gorgeous Heidi Swap spray in the kit.

Our August Sketch Challenge

Happy August everyone, hope you are enjoying an amazing summer!  We are back this month with a brand new Sketch Challenge for you.  Our new sketch has been created for C'est Magnifique Kits by Sarah Routledge, who we will be introducing you to later this month!!

How about some inspiration from our Design Team?  Take a look at how they have used this sketch, along with our August Kit, "Beautiful Stories".

We would love to see YOU use our sketch as inspiration for a layout.  We have very few rules for our Sketch Challenge........as a matter of fact, we have just one rule.......we want your layout to resemble the sketch.  Feel free to flip or rotate the sketch, but we do want to look at your layout and be able to see that you used the sketch.  Other than that, you are free to use anything you have in your personal stash, and we welcome all styles of scrapbooking.

We will award two prizes for this sketch challenge.  The first prize will be a collection of paper, flowers, chipboard, and embellishments selected by C'est Magnfique's owner Deonna.  The winner of the prize package will also be able to shop in the C'est Magnifique Store, and have their purchases sent with the prize package, so that means you won't have to pay for shipping.  

Our second prize, a $10 gift certificate to the C'est Magnifique Store,  will be awarded randomly to one of our participants who obviously uses one of our kits to create their Sketch Challenge layout. 

We will also chose 5 (or maybe more) layouts to feature on our blog!  

You have the entire month of August to submit your layout.
