Tracey's September Kit Sneaks

Hi everyone! Tracey here with my first official DT post and I have 3 layouts to show you made with the gorgeous September C'est Magnifique Kit, "Shabby Dreams."

I am a happily married mom of 4 (ages 21 to 13) and I live nestled in the mountains of Western Massachusetts, USA. I work as an Quality Control/Staff Educator RN for a local Hospice. In addition to scrapping, I love photography, home projects, my daughter's drama (the onstage kind, not the teenage
kind !) and am active in my church's Worship Arts team along with missions and the nursery.

I started scrapping at the insistence of my best friend. I kept telling her I didn't have the time and she kept telling me I would love it if I tried it. Well, 8 years later, here I am! I definitely have a shabby style (just about squealed when I opened this kit!) and also like to experiment with mixed media and off the page projects. I am beyond thrilled to be here and look forward to getting to know you all a little better!

My blog is Lifetime of Pages if you'd like to visit!

Here is my first page:

I used only the Kaisercraft papers for this one.
I love the die cuts that give you the fabulous look of fussy cutting without the work!

Everything is from the kits and add-ons except the white eyelet ribbon. I made the ruffles using the Kaisercraft paper as well. There are beautiful pastel journaling notes that were perfect for my thoughts for my daughter on her first semi-formal.

My second layout features the beautifully romantic ScrapBerry papers:

Yes, that's my daughter, Naomi again, she is such a good sport!
The lace you see comes with the kit and was so beautiful, I simply couldn't bear to cover it up! I decided to cluster the flowers together and you can see how perfectly coordinated the colors are!

These cute Blue Fern banners received some white crackle paint and parts of the doilies from the kit along with pearl paint from my stash.

My third page-mixing the two lines in a more neutral palette:

I have had this pic for a year but have been challenged with the contrast of my bright color loving niece against the backdrop of her more earth toned parents.
Everything is from the kit except my rolled and misted felt flowers.
The Blue Fern chippie has been twice crackled, first with a contrasting color and second with clear crackle.
Some close-ups:

That's all for now!
Thanks for letting me share and keep checking back for more gorgeousness from the DT!
Full reveal is on August 30! You won't want to miss it!
